Dr. Upadhyaya has been part of the San Dimas Medical Group team since 1995. Dr Upadahyaya received her M.D. from the renowned University of Gujarat-B.J. Medical College, India. Futhermore. she completed her internship at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester-Massachusetts. In addition, she completed her residency in OBGYN at UCLA affiliated OBGYN program right here in Bakersfield at Kern Medical Center. As a board certified physician, Dr Upadhyaya's reputation is second to none and patients often give glowing recommendations for her because of her embodiment of the San Dimas Medical motto, "Quality care with a personal touch."

Her special interests are high risk pregnancy, female cancer prevention and treatments, office based minimally invasive surgeries and adolescent gynecology. She is equally experienced in menopausal problems management. As the current medical director of the group, Dr Upadhyaya ensures that the SDMG team is consistently on the forefront of the medical science and practice. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, writing and watching movies with her son.
