Dr. Edwards has been providing general Gynecologic and Obstetric care for the women of Kern County since she joined the San Dimas Medical Group in 1993.  She is experienced in all aspects of gynecology including out-patient well women care, the conservative management of gynecologic problems and minimally invasive surgery.  She especially enjoys teaming with her obstetrics patients to achieve healthy pregnancies and has a special interest in the care of diabetes in pregnancy.

Dr. Edwards spent many years overseas before moving to Bakersfield.  She met and married her husband in Bakersfield and has three children, all of them delivered at the Mercy Southwest Family Birth Center.  She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and volunteering with her children’s sports activities.
